We, the Venango County Fair Board, would like to extend a personal invitation to you, to showcase
your products at the 2011 Venango County Fair. Please consider bringing your commercial exhibit
to the Venango County Fair. The Venango County Fair Board has many new members who are
willing to work with you to make your experience at the fair enjoyable. The Venango County Fair is
growing and we are in the process of expanding our commercial exhibits. We would like to see the
products, information, and expertise that you are offering to the community. We are excited to see
our fair grow and prosper and are hoping that you will be a part of our success as we expand.
The fair begins August 8, 2011 and ends August 13, 2011. Please see the attached contract for
details regarding the 2011 Venango County Fair Commercial Exhibits. Please contact Donna
Foster or Brian Neely for more information.

Important Venango County Fair Commercial Exhibit Information
Date: August 8-13, 2010
Cost of Outside Space: $5.00 per frontage foot (No Tent Provided)
Cost of Inside Space: $10.00 per frontage foot
Outside space is 10-15 feet deep by the length you require. If you require a space that is more
than 15 feet deep, please contact one of us as soon as possible to discuss another location.
Inside space is very limited and will be provided on a first come, first serve basis, so reserve your
inside space as early as possible.
Note: All spaces will be assigned at the discretion of the Fair Board.
Equipment: You must supply your own tent, tables, chairs, hardware, decorations, etc.
Insurance: The Fair Board requires all exhibitors provide a certificate of insurance naming Venango
County Fair Inc. as additional insured for $1,000,000 liability. If you do not have the required
insurance, you may be named on the Fair Board’s policy for a fee of $88.00. This fee must be
included with your contract.
Electricity: 110V electricity will be available for a weekly fee of $25.00. There will be an extra
charge for 220V. 220V is limited. Propane gas is available to purchase about a ¼ mile from the
fairgrounds.
Responsibilities: Please keep exhibits neat and attractive at all times.
Hours: The fair is open from 9:00 am to 11:00 pm.
Set Up Times: You may set up from 9:00 am-11:00 am or 5:00 pm-8:00 pm on Sunday, August 7,
2011 or 7:00 am-8:30 am on Monday, August 8, 2011. If these times do not work for you, please
contact Donna or Brian to schedule a time.
Security: Fair Security will be in force Sunday, August 7, 2010. If you wish to set up your display
before then, you will be responsible for your exhibit.
Camping: There are camping facilities on the grounds. You may contact Karen Hawkins at (814)
437-1697 or (814)758- 9734 for a camping site.
Passes: You will receive two weekly passes with your exhibit. Additional weekly passes may be
purchased for $12.00 each. You will receive your passes on Sunday when you contact Brian or
Donna to set up your exhibit.
Rules:
1. No alcoholic beverages or illegal drugs are permitted on the grounds.
2. No fireworks, squirt guns, or shooting devices may be sold or displayed at the fair.
3. No obscene materials of any kind are to be sold. (The Fair Board reserves the right to
remove/refuse any exhibit or item they do not feel is appropriate for a 4-H function.)
4. The fair closes each night at 11:00 pm. You must be in your campsite or off of the grounds
by 11:30.
5. No dogs are permitted on the grounds except during the 4-H and open pet show.
6. The Venango County Fair Inc. will not assume responsibility for any loss or damage that
occurs to any exhibit.
7. If you are running a raffle the fair board requests 10% the profits sold while at the fair.

reserved without the required fees and signed contract. Cancellations may be made until July 10,
2011 No refunds will be given after that time. Aug 8-13 fair date.
